| This event was organized on December 19, 1998 (Saturday) at 9 am in Khurshid Mahal Hall, Avari Hotel, Shahrah Quaid-e-Azam, Lahore, in collaboration with the WORLD GOLD COUNCIL, under the chairmanship of Mohammad Ahmad, Chairman Lahore Division Sarafa and Jewellers Association.
Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority made its first public appearance at this function. Professor Iqbal M Khan, consultant Management Services, explained the working of Smeda with the help of projector.
